- Messages between Hosts and Users on the Platform.

3. How Hosts May Use Reservation Information
When you win an auction or make a reservation, certain information you submit (such as your name, contact details, booking dates, and special requests) is shared with the Host responsible for fulfilling the stay or service. Hosts may use this information in the following ways:
- Reservation Management: Confirming the booking, preparing the property, and ensuring availability during the reserved dates.
- Communication: Contacting you regarding check-in/check-out times, directions, house rules, or urgent updates about your stay.
- Identity & Verification: Verifying your identity upon arrival (e.g., by requesting government ID) to prevent fraud and unauthorized use of Vouchers.
- Compliance & Legal Duties: Fulfilling legal obligations such as guest registration, local reporting requirements, or tax purposes where mandated by law.
- Property Security & Safety: Ensuring compliance with property rules, security policies, and emergency procedures.
- Personalization: Addressing special requests you may submit (e.g., accessibility needs, dietary preferences for included meals, or setup requirements).
- Record Keeping: Maintaining internal booking records for accounting, dispute resolution, or claims management.
Limitations on Host Use: Hosts are prohibited from using your information for unrelated marketing, selling it to third parties, or misusing it beyond what is required to provide and manage your reservation. Any misuse may result in account suspension or termination under our Terms & Conditions.
4. Sharing of Information
- With Hosts: booking and Voucher details necessary to provide the service.
- With Users: Hosts may see bidder/winner information required for redemption.
- With service providers: payment processors, hosting, analytics, and support tools.
- When required by law or to enforce our Terms.
5. Data Retention
We retain information as long as necessary for legal, business, or security reasons. You may request deletion, but some data may remain for compliance.
6. Security
We use technical and organizational measures to safeguard your data. However, no system is fully secure; use the Platform at your own risk.
